Ciara Celebrates 9 Years Anniversary Of The Day She Met Her Husband Russell Wilson

Yesterday, Ciara shared a carousel post to celebrate the anniversary of the day she met her husband, Russell Wilson, 35.

“3.26 the day that we met…9 years ago & forever one of the best days of my life. I love you so much @DangeRussWilson,” the singer wrote in the caption alongside a photo of her holding onto a large bouquet of red heart balloons.

Ciara looked astonishing as she pouted to the camera while rocking a black suit and bending one leg back. In the second slide, Cici stood far from the camera as she posed alongside the balloons next to a green velvet couch in a living room interior with golden chandeliers. She then looked up at the balloons in a sweet video that played with Christina Perri’s song “A Thousand Years.”

The couple welcomed their third baby together, daughter Amora Princess Wilson, in December 2023. Adding to their other kids including Future Zahir Wilburn, from Ciara’s ex boyfriend, rapper Future; Sienna Princess Wilson; and Win Harrison Wilson.

The NFL star and the “And I” singer started dating in 2015 and tied the knot in July 2016. During an Instagram Live video, the former Denver Broncos quarterback revealed that he and Ciara originally met at a Wisconsin basketball game on March 26, 2015.

Their conversation led Wilson to ask her on a dinner date, which was where the sparks really started to fly. “Next thing I knew, it was 12:00 [a.m.], 12:30 [a.m.], and I was sold on you,” recalled Wilson during an Instagram Live.

The two first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted out together on various occasions, including a Mariners game in Seattle on April 19, 2015. The now married couple attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner hand-in-hand on April 28, 2015. While they didn’t confirm their relationship until that June, their chemistry at the event was visible.
