Drake Bell Says His Former ‘Drake & Josh’ Co-star, Josh Peck, Has Reached Out To Him After Brian Peck Abuse Allegations

Drake Bell made headlines earlier this week after appearing on an explosive documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV”, detailing his abuse in the hands of his dialogue coach Brian Peck. Just in, he’s hopped on social media to inform fans that his co-star Josh Peck has reached out to him in private.

On Wednesday, Bell shared a TikTok video where he addressed fans who have been critical of his co-star Peck for not speaking out in support of Bell following the actor’s recent allegations of sexual abuse.

“I just want to clear something up. I’ve noticed a lot of comments on some of Josh’s TikToks and some of his posts,” Bell said in the TikTok video. “I just want to let you guys know that this is really … processing this and going through this is a really emotional time, and a lot of it is very, very difficult. So not everything is put out to the public.”

Josh Peck starred in the sitcom “Drake & Josh” alongside Drake Bell, who in the docuseries alleged he was sexually assaulted by Nickelodeon dialogue and acting coach Brian Peck when he was just 15. It’s noteworthy that Brian Peck is not by any means related to Josh.

Drake continued, “But I just want you guys to know that he has reached out to me, and it’s been very sensitive. But he has reached out to talk with me and help me work through this. And has been really, really great. So just wanted to let you guys know that and to take it a little easy on him.”

“Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” is an investigation discovery series where former child actors and members of production reveal the alleged abuse and misconduct they experienced while working on the children’s television network. Bell made his own allegations in the third episode of the series.

Drake Bell and Josh Peck played teenage stepbrothers Drake and Josh from 2004 until 2008 in 4 seasons of the Nickelodeon series, with an additional two movies.
