Joe Budden Believes Drake Is Getting Paid To Promote Sexyy Red

It’s unarguable that Drake’s co-sign goes a long way and can exponentially skyrocket one’s career. This is what Sexyy Red has been enjoying for a while now. The two have collaborated and even sparked dating rumors at a time.

However, Joe Budden respectfully thinks there’s more to it. The rapper turned podcaster told his co-hosts that he believes Drake is secretly “getting paid to promote Sexyy Red.”

Budden made the claims during a recent episode of ‘The Joe Budden’ podcast and one of the hosts quickly agreed. Trevor “Queenzflip” Robinson pushed back. “Quick, real, quick, real quick, you said this ‘paid on somebody’s deal,’” he said. “Is this confirmed, or is this just some inside sh*t that you are saying?”

Budden quickly snapped: “Oh, you think [Drake] just likes being around Sexyy Red?”

There’s no confirmation to what Joe believes could be happening behind the scenes. What we know is Drake and Red have a good friendship, judging by the extravagant gifts, including cash and lavish purses, and his appearance in her new “Get It Sexyy” music video.

“I actually think drake genuinely likes sexy ..” someone commented. “I personally think he wants to be associated with the hood culture living the life he always wanted growing up, but that’s just my opinion,” another person wrote.

“I feel like he’s living his hood fantasy through her,” someone else penned. “I don’t think he’s getting paid persay! He knows how to attach his self to any new brand that has alot of buzz to keep himself relevant to the trends,” another user added.
