Kamala Harris Slams Trump For Saying He’s Proud He Overturned Roe v. Wade: “How Dare He!”

Vice President Kamala Harris, recently took to Twitter to call out former President Donald Trump for openly saying he’s proud he overturned Roe v. Wade.

“Donald Trump openly talks about how he is proud that he overturned Roe v. Wade. He is proud that he took the right to choose from millions of women and people around America,” she tweeted.

”He is proud that young women today have fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers. How dare he!” Kamala added. In another tweet, she wrote: “President Biden and I stand with the majority of Americans who believe women should have the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies and lives.”

She continued, “We remain committed to defending access to reproductive health care, including medication abortion.”

Earlier this year, Donald Trump boasted about his role in overturning the constitutional right to an abortion, calling it “a miracle,” but urged fellow Republicans to take a cautious approach when addressing the issue.

Trump was asked by an abortion rights opponent at the town hall to clarify his position and reassure her that he wants to “protect all life without compromise,” and he replied, “Nobody has done more in that regard. (But) I happen to be for the exceptions like Ronald Reagan, with the life of the mother, rape, incest. I just have to be there, I feel.”

Trump went on to tell Republicans that they have to find a consensus on the issue in order to “win elections.” “Otherwise you are going to be back where you were and you can’t let that ever happen again,” the former President said.
