LAPD Denies Cardi B’s Drug Trafficking Story

Yesterday, Cardi B was in the news after she made scathing claims against the LAPD. The Bronx superstar claimed that she was accused of selling drugs and allegedly made to take off all her clothes.

“They had all the helicopters in LA. Yo, I was freaking out. They had me outside for like three hours. They had me getting butt-naked outside. Shit was crazy. It was deadass a movie and whatever, but you already know,” she said.

“I’m about to sue the LAPD. I told them like, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Like do I look like I gotta sell some shit? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no shit like that.’”

The mother of two continued: “They didn’t believe me. It was some white cops and they ain’t know who I was. They was really tough on me and everything. They said somebody gave them a clue. I really feel like it was one of my opps and shit, like they really trying to ruin my life type shit. Like y’all don’t even fucking know. I been going through a lot lately.”

Just in, the LAPD has denied that the incident ever happened. According to a source from the department, Cardi B’s story about the Los Angeles Police Department did not happen.

Speaking to TMZ, the source says Cardi’s remarks does not appear to be “grounded in reality” and that there’s “no evidence it ever occurred.”

The source believes Cardi was just joking around with her fans, as there is no report sheet of any such incident taking place.
