MGM Resorts Says Bruno Mars Does Not Owe Them A $50 Million Gambling Debt

Pop superstar Bruno Mars, made controversial headlines yesterday after it was reported that he owes $50 million in gambling debt to MGM Casino in Las Vegas.

According to News Nation, an anonymous source told them that Bruno allegedly made $90M a year through his residencies at MGM but was using majority of the profits to pay his gambling debt.

“(MGM) basically own him,” the Vegas insider told the news outlet. Bruno is allegedly working as an indentured servant to the club. News Nation says that Bruno “lives for free while he has a contract” but that he’s broke.

Just in time, MGM resorts is clearing the air on the allegation, denying that Bruno Mars is owing them a $50 million gambling debt.

A spokesperson for MGM said in a statement, “From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno’s brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe. MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect.”

The statement continued, “Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”

Fans have since been sharing mixed reactions to the update from MGM resorts. “Y’all done plastered and defamed this man’s name,” someone commented. “He fixed that shit immediately,” another person wrote.
