Transgender Woman Blu Linares Attacked & Brutalized At Kanye West’s Rolling Loud Set

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were the headliners for the opening night of the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles, which went down on Thursday, March 14.

While the show was on, a transgender woman who goes by Blu Linares claims that she was involved in an attack she labelled as transphobic.

The victim granted an interview to TMZ, where she explained that she was in the mosh pit where people were bumping into one another unknowingly. Linares said two guys thought she was doing it on purpose, so they gashed her eyebrow with their ring and that’s how it all started.

In the video of the attack which has since gone viral on social media, Linares and two male attendees can be seen sparring as the crowd separates at their fight. The trans woman is seen with her face covered in blood after being attacked.

“They were the ones that attacked me first for basically no reason. It’s a given in a festival, of course, you’re going to be bumping into people around you. For some reason they were specifically getting angry at me,” Linares said, adding that many other concertgoers also bumped into the men.

“I feel like it was transphobic because of the things that were said to me,” she added. “They were accusing me of doing things on purpose.”

According to Linares, the police did not get involved at the festival. TMZ shares that the trans woman is planning to meet with attorneys to discuss the incident but she most likely won’t be taking any legal action.
