Trap Rapper OJ Da Juiceman Arrested On Cocaine And Gun Charges In Georgia
OJ Da Juiceman is currently in the news again after having a run in with the authorities. His ‘brick’ lyrics and infectious ad-libs may be his claim to fame, unfortunately, Georgia officials are looking at him in a different light after they say the rapper was ridin’ dirty.
According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, OJ was flagged for allegedly speeding in Coweta County, GA on March 4 around 10 PM … and gave responding officers a short chase before he eventually pulled over.
After being apprehended, Coweta County sheriffs say OJ had cocaine and a 9mm handgun in his 2024 Ford Expedition and popped him on charges for drug trafficking in cocaine and other drugs, fleeing cops, firearm possession, and failure to maintain his lane.
We’re told the 42-year-old rapper has been sitting in the jail since the arrest.
This isn’t OJ’s first brush with the law. Similarly, he was arrested on gun and drug charges in Hardin County, Kentucky, back in 2022. And in 2015, the 32 Entertainment founder was arrested on gun and drug charges in Tennessee while traveling to North Carolina for a performance.
OJ Da Juiceman rose to fame in the late 2000s thanks to his street hit “Make tha Trap Say Aye” featuring Gucci Mane.
The Atlanta native went on to crack the top 20 of the Billboard 200 with his 2009 debut album The Otha Side of the Trap while notching collaborations with R. Kelly, Jadakiss, Swizz Beatz and others.
