Beyoncé Flaunts Her Natural Hair Tresses In ‘Cecred Wash Day’ Video

Beyoncé’s hair line brand “Cecred” recently won its first award for its innovative impact, and the veteran artist is now utilizing the buzz to showcase its effect on her own hair. She joined the #Cecredwashday trend to give a personal insight into her process and how CÉCRED her has tresses looking better than ever.

“It has been such a special experience seeing all of your #cecredwashday rituals all over my timeline… I just had to join in with something I had in the archives,” Bey began in the caption of the video.

“Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me. My hair and music seemed to do that a lot over the years… Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products.”

She continued, “It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts. Congratulations to the entire CÉCRED team for contributing to developing award-winning products. Happy #cecredwashday! You are CÉCRED,” Queen Bey added.

In an official launch announcement, Beyonce said: “The journey of creating Cécred has taken years, and I’m so proud to finally reveal what we’ve been working on.”

She continued, “As a Black founder, it was important to me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy haircare and to place scientific innovation and product performance above all else. We started by prioritizing the needs of textured hair like mine, along with other types and textures that need more moisture and strength.”

“My entire life and career, I’ve worn my hair in so many different ways: natural, flat-ironed, braids, colored, weaves, wigs. I want everyone to have the freedom to express their hair in ways that make them feel good, so I began by creating the essentials for hair and scalp health.”

“My vision is to be an inclusive force of excellence in the haircare industry while celebrating hair rituals across global cultures and helping dispel hair myths and misconceptions on all sides,” she added.
