Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in an exclusive interview on Fox New, now says he regrets his 2020 endorsement of Joe Biden. According to the actor and wrestler, his endorsement at the time caused ‘division’ and that he won’t backing anyone publicly in this year’s presidential election.

The Rock added that he isn’t happy with the state of America right now and left open the chance of running for office himself in the future. “The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” the WWE star said.

“I realize now going into this election, I will not do that, my goal is to bring this country together. I will keep my politics to myself. It is between me and the ballot box. Like a lot of us out there, not trusting of all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for that is my president and who I will support 100 percent,” Dwayne Johnson added.

When asked if he was happy with the state of America, he said he wasn’t. “Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well that answer’s no. Do I believe we are going to get better? I believe in that, I’m an optimistic guy and I believe we can get better.”

The ‘Fast and Furious’ actor also spoke of the influence he had. “I thought back then, when we talk about hey you know I’m in this position where I have some influence and it’s my job then, I felt like that then, it’s my job now to exercise my influence and share with – this is who I’m going to endorse. Am I going to do it again this year? That answer’s no,” Rock said, adding that he was speaking publicly to be direct and to be honest and to be transparent.

“Some of the damage that has been done may never be recoverable. I blame every single person that supported Joe Biden for the destruction of America,” someone commented on the interview. “Michael Jordan would never have endorsed a political candidate, because Michael Jordan is a wise businessman,” another person wrote.

“Doesn’t mean he’s voting for Trump,” someone else penned. “I stopped listening to the rock after he and Oprah begged poor people to help poor people in Hawaii. Yet him and her could do more to help them than all of us combined. Guess they’re to busy land grabbing after the fires. Speaking of the fires. Where are the Missing Maui kids?” another user added.
