Fans are now calling 50 Cent the male Tyler Perry following the opening of the rapper’s G-Unit film studio in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The 956,000 square feet film studio is now the second biggest black owned production studio in the world after Tyler Perry Studios.

Folks online are now comparing the two business moguls, dubbing 50 Cent the male version of Tyler Perry. Apparently, fans think Tyler himself is more feminine and for other reasons best known to them, he isn’t the male version of himself.

“Y’all always tryna play in Tyler face congratulations to BOTH of these Brown men,” someone commented. “Nah y’all disrespectful. You don’t see white folk downplaying their LEGENDS.. y’all gon laugh but Tyler has put on more black actor’s then BET SMH. Our people” another person wrote.

“This man is a great example, from being a real street thug/gangster to a certified businessman and entrepreneur, but one thing I’m sad for is his g-unit members that are not part of his success, but there must be a reason for that,” someone else wrote on 50 Cent.

“Black community do to much and always worried about another man’s sexuality and how they identify. It’s draining. Yeah folks will say it’s just jokes but god damnnnnnnnnn. It’s tiring,” another user added.

As we previously reported, 50 Cent has been honored with his own day in Shreveport, Louisiana after opening his G-Unit Film & TV Studios in the city. He was also presented with a ceremonial key to the city by Mayor Tom Arceneaux during a ceremony on Thursday (April 18).
