There have been several false rumors about Kick streamer N3on, since he was arrested and detained in Dubai.

Initial rumor that circulated at the time was that N3on was arrested and has been sentenced to one year in prison in Dubai for illegally filming.

However, Dexerto called the report false. “Kick streamer N3on has been arrested in Dubai and is being detained, Dexerto sources have confirmed. Rumors have circulated social media that he has been sentenced to a year in prison. That is not accurate,” the page wrote in a clarification tweet.

A new report from Kick Champ on X, formerly Twitter, is that N3on has been pronounced dead this afternoon in a Dubai jail cell due to the severe flooding. “Prayers Are Sent To His Family And May He Rest In Peace,” the page added in their tweet.

There’s no reliable source to corroborate this claim, so take it with a grain of salt. “These streamers just keep faking paying for clout,” someone commented. “Some people wish this was true but it’s not,” another person wrote.

Earlier today, Dubai was hit with severe flooding after two years’ worth of rain fell in just 24 hours, records show. According to the Dubai Meteorological Office, over a half foot — 6.26 inches — of rain was recorded in the UAE city between 10 p.m. local time Monday and 10 p.m. local time Tuesday.

Dubai receives 3.12 inches of rain each year on average, according to the World Meteorological Organization, meaning two years’ worth of rain fell in twenty four hours.
