Lil Durk Acquires New Moon Chain Worth $150,000

Lil Durk has been making headlines lately for his generosity, dropping a bag for his guys fit and sending a huge amount to his incarcerated homie. However, he’s not leaving himself out.

Durk decided to spoil himself by acquiring a moon chain worth $150,000. The clip of the purchase is currently going viral on social media.

“It’s a chain that represents Islam with a mosque on it, not just a moon chain,” someone commented. Durk is a known devoted Muslim, so it’s quite understandable why he’d dropped a big bag for a chain with such a significant meaning.

We previously reported on incarcerated rapper RondoNumbaNine, revealing that Durk asked for the maximum amount he can receive after he got tired of sending a stack.

Durk also previously dropped $60,000 at Amiri store on his guys. The Chicago rapper took his team shopping and blew up to $60k on them.

The Chicago’s rapper collaborative album with Lil Baby, The Voice of the Heroes (2021) became his first to debut atop the Billboard 200.

His seventh album, 7220 (2022) became his second to do so, while his eighth album, Almost Healed (2023) was led by the single “All My Life” (featuring J. Cole), which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, won a Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance, and remains his most commercially successful release.

Durk founded the Chicago-based collective and record label Only the Family (OTF) in 2010, for which he serves as the lead member. The group, having released six albums, included slain rapper King Von.
