Marlo Hampton Says She Bought A Bag For $12,000 And Can Now Sell For $40,000, Says Another Bag She Bought For $30,000 Is Now Worth $200,000

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton, believes the best investments are in designer handbags, and that buy these bags are better than buying stocks. She took time out on her recent live to educate viewers on the modern investment strategy.

“I bought this bag for $12,000, I can sell it today for $30,000 or $40,000. Another bag that I bought that was $30,000, I can sell it today for $200,000,” the reality star said on live, showing her bags.

“It’s not just property, expand your brains in your wisdom and knowledge on investments. It’s not always just property guys..” Marlo added before turning the camera to her friend. “I said I once had an investor tell me that the best investments are Hermes and Chanel handbags, as well as Van Cleef jewelry. Better than the stock market,” her friend said.

“Better than the stock market, that’s so true. When I walk out I’m like okay, I mean if you Google this bag right now, it’s $40,000, my other bag I paid $30,000 for is worth $200,000. Show me a stock that turns that fast instantly,” Marlo, who previously called out an online store for selling her stolen designer clothes, continued.

She continued, “And people are like ‘oh you’re always buying clothes, you’re buying this,’ it’s like.. it’s an investment, it literally can be framed in a frame and it’s a piece of art. And the hours, just take a look at this necklace, it took 1,225 hours to craft, that’s art.”

“Go buy Hermes, this is the Mini Kelly, Google how much it’s worth now, Van Cluse apparel, Chanel. You can’t go wrong. Always keep insurance. Someone said ‘I’m not spending that much money on things that can be damaged or stolen,’ Anything can be damaged or stolen, your car, your house, your shoes, just make sure you have insurance okay,” she added.

Folks online have since been reacting to Marlo Hampton’s viral live video. “I don’t believe y’all. Sale it and show me the receipts,” someone commented. “This makes sense only if you buy and don’t use your bags. Because the wear and tear will finish the value significantly,” another person wrote.

“I mean … she ain’t lying. That’s why I don’t buy off DHGate & get the real deal. It’s nice to fake it (I guess) but if vou ever get caught up in a jam 10+ years later, you can sell a REAL bag and get some REAL money out of it,” someone else added.
