Mehgan James Makes A Review Of Kandi Burruss ‘Old Lady Gang’ Restaurant

Mehgan James just dined at Kandi Burruss’ ‘Old Lady Gang’ restaurant and she’s shared a video making a review of her experience at the eatery. Mehgan claims she was forced to drink tap water and was only given a  fork to eat a silverware.

“I just left ‘Old Lady Gang’, upon arriving there I thought that the food was gonna come out really fast because there was zero people in the restaurant. They brought us silverware with only forks, no spoons and no knives,” she began.

“I was forced to drink tap water because they have no bottle water… Now let’s get into the food, I give it 6/10. It was seasoned outside but not really seasoned inside, but it was made really really well…” Mehgan added.

Her video has since gone viral and has been reposted on TNT. “How tf you season chicken on the inside???” someone queried. “The gag is you drinking tap water at every restaurant unless it’s a bottle..” another person wrote. “You could’ve reach out to Kandi privately,” someone else added.

Back in October, Kandi responded to TikTok food critic Keith Lee’s bad review of her restaurant. “I really just wanted to say I do appreciate Keith Lee for stopping by our restaurant and trying to show us love,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said.

“It is very unfortunate that we couldn’t serve him and his family. We would have loved to. But he’s right, we don’t take to-go orders on the weekends, and the simple reason is because we do love and appreciate the people who come and support our restaurant.”

Kandi continued that Old Lady Gang didn’t want to “overwhelm” the kitchen staff by having to juggle dine-in and to-go orders. Because the restaurant receives support not only in Atlanta but across the nation, focusing solely on those eating at the restaurant on the weekends ensured that the service and food quality would be top-notch.

The reality star ended her statement by offering Lee and his family the opportunity to dine with Old Lady Gang.
