NBA YoungBoy’s Mom Sherhonda Gaulden Speaks On His Recent Arrest

It’s no news that NBA YoungBoy has been arrested in his Utah home for multiple felony charges. The controversial Baton Rouge rapper has been on house arrest there, awaiting trial for a federal gun charge, for two years before authorities arrested him.

YoungBoy was booked for “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.”

Just in, NBA YoungBoy’s mother Sherhonda Gaulden, has now reacted to his recent arrest. Taking to her Instagram page, Sherhonda shared a photo of her son with a caption that reads: “Stay tuned he got this.”

In the photo she posted, NBA YoungBoy’s song “Bout My Business” featuring her very self was playing in the background. “Had to go through sad times to get it />And I know my son’s gon’ be aight, we all gon’ be aight ‘Cause I came ’bout my business,” the song plays.

“You see, I’m always with Kentrell, but I rep behind the scenes / I love my baby boy, he the wind beneath my wings / CT Lee and lil’ Kendell, man, he give them anything / See, your star up in the sky, but see, our star, she on our team / I’m sleepin’ through the day because I’m livin’ out my dream.”

The song continues, “And my mama on his side, she the angel on the scene / He goin’ to the top because he win by any means / He married to this shit, he bought hisself a wedding ring.”

Dreddsworld previously reported that authorities are accusing NBA YoungBoy of running a prescription fraud ring. The arrest report says YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was part of a scheme to fraudulently obtain promethazine with codeine a.k.a. lean.

YB and others, who have yet to be named, allegedly tried to obtain the prescribed drug at multiple pharmacies in Cache County, Utah.

The Baton Rouge rapper reportedly called in for a prescription for a 74-year-old woman to a pharmacy in Utah and provided the pharmacist with “an actual, valid DEA number, NPI number and other identification for the real physician.”
