Rihanna is currently facing heavy backlash following a photoshoot for Interview Magazine that features her dressed as a nun. Choosing to dress as a nun want the cause of the outrage, but Riri’s seductive’ poses that see her pulling off her button-down shirt to reveal her chest tattoo.

The 36-year-old singer is being criticized and accused of ‘sexualizing’ nuns and disrespecting the Christianity religion. Folks online deem the photos as offensive to Christians and Catholics.

The images have since gone viral on social media, with many expressing disappointment. One user condemned the shoot as ‘religious mockery,’ while others questioned why Rihanna opted to ‘mock a religion’ with her fashion choices.

A reporter on X, formerly Twitter, Oli London, shared the images and comments have been flooding in, condemning the iconic singer.

“Try this with a Hijab…see what happens,” someone commented. “Exactly! They always mock Christians. They never ever mock other religions….we all know why,” Oli London replied. “ I’m not outraged. I am saddened that this is what she has become,” another person wrote.

“Disrespectful, disgusting and classless. That about sums it up. She’d wouldn’t dare do this dressed up as a muslim woman would she?” someone else shared. “She sold her soul a long time ago,” another user added.

“These failures are doing things like this for attention. Her career is withering, she isn’t happy about losing the spotlight, so she like so many others think doing a trashy, disgusting and very controversial act like that will somehow make them popular again. She’ll regret it,” someone added.
