Sexyy Red has been trending non stop since breaking into the music scene. She’s arguably one of the most sought after female rappers in the past few months. No wonder, fans are now using the term “the Sexyy wave”.

However, not everyone is happy with the St. Louis rapper. Apparently, her family members are mad at her for leaving them behind in the hood after she made it.

While wishing Red a happy birthday, a family member who goes by the name Alysha Burney, revealed that they’re not happy her. “Happy Birthday Cousin @sexyyred! Why you leave us in the hood like that? Grandma mad at you, she said call her,” the supposed relative wrote.

The post has since gone viral on social media, garnering mixed reactions from people. “She is not obligated especially if they weren’t great people to her and didn’t help her. That being said, if the opposite is true…. morals ya know,” someone commented.

“Family don’t invest in your dreams but when you blow up they feel entitled shit is crazy,” another person wrote. “Gotta look out for the family once especially grandma baby,” someone argued.

“It’s not mandatory for her to elevate everybody just imagine you making money and your friends from the hood just sitting around looking at you doing nothing waiting on you to give them something…I’m sure she double back to her block before this post was made,” another user added.
