DJ Akademiks Reveals Kendrick Lamar Was Supposed To Be On 'First Person Shooter' With Drake & J. Cole
DJ Akademiks Reveals Kendrick Lamar Was Supposed To Be On ‘First Person Shooter’ With Drake & J. Cole Which Incited The Beef

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef was reignited when Drizzy dropped “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole, which sees the two spitters bragging about being the best, although Cole gave props to Kendrick for being among the ‘Big 3’. According to DJ Akademiks, K. Dot was supposed to be on the track with them.

“I now have good authority to say that allegedly Drake hit up Kendrick Lamar and ‘First Person Shooter’ should have been a song with Drake, Cole and Kendrick,” Akademiks said during his recent livestream.

“Now if you think about the entire timeline and beef with that in mind, it makes sense. So ‘First Person Shooter’, Drake hit up Kendrick to say ‘hey we got a open for you’, it’s me and Cole, come holla at me, do the song.”

AK continued, “Kendrick doesn’t do the song, the he hears the song then the song is about a bunch of n*ggas who’s talking about ‘me and you is the spider man’ blah blah blah.. and he’s like this b*m a** n*gga who couldn’t get a feature from me, is now acting like they’re number one and number two.. f*ck both of ‘em.”

“That is what I’m hearing. I’m hearing that ‘First Person Shooter’ was a song intended to be with the ‘Big 3’. I’m hearing that verses were rewritten because Kendrick did not respond to the feature request..”

He then clarified that he hasn’t confirmed this with Drake yet. “By the way none of this is from Drake, I’ve not asked Drake about this. I know some people think I’m obviously a spokesperson. I have not asked Drake about this and to be honest, I’d rather not ask him about it…”

He continued, “Leave Drake out of this, this is just me speculating based on what I’ve heard from very reputable sources that’s connected to other people. So if you listen carefully, especially Cole’s verse, that verse was intended to be “I’m here with my brothers and we’re the best. But I still feel I’m the best.. but we’re the best.”

“‘We’re the Big 3 like we started a League,’” Ak said, quoting Cole’s lyrics. “I hear if you listen to Cole’s verse, you’ll hear what the original intention of the song was..” he added that the North Carolina rapper was already told that Kendrick would be on the song and that’s why he mentioned him in his verse.

“Kendrick got upset because yes, he turned down the feature because Kendrick got smoke with Drake, but once he heard them talk is just them two.. He said ‘f*ck it, my next verse I’m about to say ‘f*ck the big 3, it’s just big me’, that’s what I’m hearing,” the controversial blogger concluded.
