Chloe Bailey Stars In New Horror Movie “The Exorcism”
The official first trailer for upcoming supernatural horror film “The Exorcism,” starring Russell Crowe, Ryan Simpkins and R&B singer Chloe Bailey, has just been released by Vertical.
“The Exorcism” follows Crowe as “Anthony Miller, a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film.
His estranged daughter, Lee played by Ryan Simpkins, wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.” The trailer has since gone viral on social media, garnering reactions from people and fans of Chloe Bailey.

“Horror movies are never scary when the actors are too well known,” someone commented. “I love Halle’s Acting so l’m very intrigued to see her sister Chloe’s acting skills they really them girls fr,” another person wrote. “She killin the game right now,” someone else added.
Aside Chloe Bailey, additional cast members include Sam Worthington (“Avatar: The Way of Water”), Adam Goldberg (“The Equalizer”), David Hyde Pierce (“Frasier”), Adrian Pasdar (“Near Dark”), Tracey Bonner (“The Beanie Bubble”) and Josh Warren (“Footloose”).
Bailey also starred in several television series and films, acting as on Grown-ish (2018–2022) and Swarm (2024). She won a NAACP Image Award for her lead role in Praise This.
Russell Crowe continues his streak of horror films after starring in “The Pope’s Exorcist” in 2023 and “Sleeping Dogs” earlier this year.
For clarity, The Exorcism, which just dropped its first trailer today, began its development long before The Pope’s Exorcist was even made. This movie was announced and shot as far back as in the autumn of 2019, before seemingly languishing in development hell through the entirety of the pandemic.
