Nashville Man Arrested After He Kidnapped & Raped A Female Amazon Delivery Driver

A Nashville man is behind bars after he was arrested for kidnapping and raping a female Amazon delivery driver while she was on the clock.

According to WKRN, a 25-year-old female Amazon delivery driver was at a downtown Nashville apartment complex dropping off packages around 4 a.m..

Carl Jerome Hamilton, 34, rolled up on her and touched her further into the mailroom, made her take her clothes off, and proceeded to sexually assault her. Then, he forced the woman to get into her delivery car and drive to an ATM, where he forced her to withdraw $100 from her account.

Carl then reportedly drove the victim around for nearly an hour before eventually leaving her and her car.

When officers arrived at the apartment complex to review the security footage, they were able to catch Carl fleeing the scene, and he was immediately arrested. Detectives said the apartment manager knew Carl by name because he was arrested at the property on March 5 and Jan. 2 for criminal trespassing.

He was charged with aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, and robbery.

The crazy part is, Carl is no new criminal. He had a whooping 107 prior offense stemming all the way back to 2007. He was arrested for kidnapping and robbery in 2020 in connection with the assault of a 24-year-old woman on Academy Place.

Investigators said he was convicted of those charges in July 2022 and received a six-year sentence. How was he still on the streets to commit this violent crime?! The world may never know!
