2 Chainz Confirms “CollegeGroove 2” Is Dropping This Year

Lil Wayne dropped his long awaited album “Funeral” earlier this year and it appears his ever thirsting fans will be getting more works from the iconic rapper.

2 Chainz recently took to Instagram Live to stream some unreleased music, when he dropped a major bombshell regarding his collaborative project with Wayne ‘Collegrove 2’.

‘CollegeGroove’ first dropped about four years ago and fans have been anticipating another joint work from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne ever since. The good news is, it would appear that’s the game plan. “I’m also dropping Collegrove 2 this year,” confirms 2 Chainz. “Just know that gon drop, all that secret surprise shit.”

Although, 2 Chainz didn’t provide much information regarding the release of the project, he confirmed that we’ll be getting it this year. There’s a high probability that we’ll see a 2 Chainz solo album before it hits.

2 Chainz took a moment to preview one of the tracks, which features an absolutely savage verse from a snapping Wayne. “Give my people power now we power fiends,” spits Wayne, deep in his bag.

“This addiction feeling like a boxer stepping out the ring / you swing and miss, we critically thinking about the critics up in critical condition.”
