Meek Mill & Drake’s “Going Bad” Is Now RIAA Certified 5x Platinum
Meek Mill & Drake’s “Going Bad” Goes Quintuple Platinum
Meek Mill and Drake reconciled after a long beef and had a collaboration on Meek’s 2018 album ‘Championships’. Drizzy was featured on ‘Going Bad’ which marked their first song together post beef.
Apart from the hype and amusement from fans, both rappers delivered brilliantly on the track which has now reached a new feat.
‘Going Bad’ is now RIAA certified 5x Platinum. The news comes on the same day Meek locked in a few additional plaques to his name, with “24/7” going platinum and “Respect The Game” going gold.
Back in 2015, Meek Mill had a bitter beef with Drake, accusing the Toronto rapper of not promoting his project and also called him out for using “Ghost Writers”. Only for Drake to do what many termed as “ending his career” with two solid diss tracks ‘Charged Up’ and Back To Back”.
Although Meek had a steamy clap back on ‘War Pain’ featuring O Melly, it’s nothing compared to the harm Drizzy inflicted. The infamous line “Trigger finger turned into twitter finger” which Drake used to diss Meek on ‘Back To Back’ is still used to clown him till date.
It’s good to see both rappers back on the same track and setting the record straight with Quintuple Platinum. Congratulations to them!
