Two Teen Girls Charged With Murder Of Uber Driver After Botched Carjacking

Two Washington DC area children, girls ages 13 and 15, have been charged with felony murder after D.C. police said they attempted to carjack a food delivery driver. The car crashed, and the man was fatally injured.
The entire car jacking was captured on video by a passerby. He recorded the whole thing and streamed it on Live.
The girls both legally too young to drive, were also charged with armed carjacking, according to authorities. A D.C. police spokesman, at least one girl was armed with a stun device, which was found inside the crashed vehicle. Stun guns are illegal in Washington DC.
The victim was Mohammad Anwar, a 66-year-old immigrant from Pakistan who lived in Virginia and was working as a driver for Uber Eats.
His death is the latest in a string of carjackings that began last year around the nation, and is continuing this year.
