Lil Nas X Responds To Joyner Lucas Criticism Of Satanic ‘Montero’ Music Video
Lil Nas X has been trending on social media after the release of the visuals of his new single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. The controversial self-directed video with Tanu Muino, shows him giving the devil a lap dance.
He’s since been getting heavy backlash from folks online over it. In fact, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, has taken to Twitter to criticize Lil Nas.
Retired NBA star Nick Young has also shared his thoughts on the matter, saying his kids won’t be playing Lil Nas X songs again. Joyner Lucas is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the issue.

“That @LilNasX video is wild but as a artist he doing everything he supposed to do. Creating viral moments, making people talk, & creating content he already knew you was going to react to,” Joyner wrote, giving the artist his praise before offering a word of critique.
“It’s a formula guaranteed to work. I doubt he actually worships the devil. I think the biggest problem for me is the fact he dont understand ‘old town road’ is every kids anthem.”
He continued, “Children love him for that record. They tuned in and subscribed to his channels. So with no disclaimer he just dropped some left field ish & all our kids seen it. Smh.”
Lil Nas X has responded and he’s blaming Joyner for letting his kids listen to “Old Town Road” in the first place. “I literally sing about lean & adultery in old town road. u decided to let your child listen. blame yourself,”
