Lil Nas X Responds To Critics Of His New Video: “Stay Mad”

Lil Nas X Roasts Gov. Kristi Noem After She Criticized His MSCHF ‘Satan Sneakers’

Lil Nas X has since been facing heavy backlash over his new single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. He backed the song a provocative, self-directed video with Tanu Muino, which shows him giving the devil a lap dance.

“I spent my entire teenage years hating myself because of the shit y’all preached would happen to me because i was gay,” he tweeted in response to the backlash before telling critics to stay mad.

Not long after, LNX seemingly doubled down on his new ‘satanic image’ by teaming up with MSCHF and Nike to launch his new “Satan Shoes.” The company will only create 666 pairs of the limited edition sneaker, which has a satanic pentagram charm on it. And according to Saint, each sneaker will contain “one drop of human blood” inside it.

“Our kids are being told that this kind of product is, not only okay, it’s ‘exclusive.’ But do you know what’s more exclusive? Their God-given eternal soul,” South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, wrote on Twitter in response to the sneakers.

“We are in a fight for the soul of our nation. We need to fight hard. And we need to fight smart. We have to win.”

The ‘Old Town Road’ hit maker responded by telling the Governor to focus on what’s important: “Ur a whole governor and u on here tweeting about some damn shoes. do ur job!”

Noem then quoted a verse from the bible: “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? -Matthew 16:26.”

“Shoot a child in your mouth while I’m ridin’ -Montero 1:08,” Nas answered.
