Scottie Pippen Says LeBron James Won A Championship Without Any Help
Scottie Pippen Sparks Debate After Saying LeBron James Won His Rings Without Help
Scottie Pippen took to Twitter today where he shocked fans with his opinion on LeBron James’ titles. Prior, Stephen A. Smith took to First Take where he noted that LeBron had help on his way to his titles.
Pippen heard this and went on Twitter where he claimed that LeBron never had help.
When Smith and NBA fans were quick to remind Pippen of Kyrie Irving’s inclusion on the team, especially since he hit the clutch shot that won the Cavs the championship. Regardless, Pippen didn’t want to back down from his take, which was ridiculous from the jump.

With all due respect my brother, that is ridiculous. D-Wade and Chris Bosh (Miami), Kyrie and Kevin Love (Cleveland) and Anthony Davis (Lakers). WTH is the matter with you? You know basketball. You’re a 6-time champion. How can you utter such Blasphemy? https://t.co/rLbW0kFFDl

Earlier this week, Scottie Pippen criticized Kevin Durant in the wake of Brooklyn’s season-ending loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7 over the weekend. Pippen specifically compared Durant to LeBron James, indicating a preference for James.
“James is a complete team player who understands team and winning,” Pippen told Yahoo Sports.
“Has [Durant] gotten to that level yet? He went home. I think he still has some learning to do in terms of what it takes to will a team to victory.
In response, Durant wrote: “Didn’t the great Scottie Pippen refuse to go in the game for the last second shot because he was in his feelings his coach drew up the play for a better shooter??”
