Nick Cannon May Replace Wendy Williams On Her Show Amid Her Health Crisis

Talk show hos, Wendy Williams, has been struggling with the effects of a breakthrough case of COVID. Last month, she was rushed to psychiatric hospital over mental health Issues from the virus. Wendy was later spotted by paparazzi in a wheelchair following the hospitalization.

According to reports reaching us, executives of “The Wendy Williams Show” have allegedly come up with a backup plan as season 13 has continued to be delayed multiple times.

Executives reportedly have their eyes on listing Nick Cannon as Williams’ replacement for the time being due to his popularity and platform.  “It would not be a far stretch for Nick to take her time slot…Debmar-Mercury [which produces both shows] is really pushing to make Nick Canon’s show a huge success,” a source close told Page Six..

“He already has a major platform, and a huge fanbase, so it is an easy win. So, if Wendy’s show ends up being a no-go, their backup plan is already set,” the source added.

Williams’ show continued to be pushed back due to her continuous health issues and delayed the season 13 premiere to October 18.

“Wendy will not be returning with new shows on Oct.4. She has been and continues to be under a doctor’s care and is still not ready to return to work,” her team wrote on her Instagram page.




The outlet also noted that Williams allegedly wants to leave the show and doesn’t have any plans to renew it for 2022.
