Nick Cannon Lied About His Mom Being Light-Skinned & Looks Like Mariah Carey To Justify His Taste In Women

Nick Cannon has been facing backlash over his controversial comments on a recent podcast with Dr. Umar Johnson. The comedian says his “very light-skinned, mixed-raced” mother shaped his perception of women and beauty.

According to Nick, this explains why he decided to impregnate numerous white/non-Black women. He says Mariah and his mother look very similar in terms of complexion.

The clip was reposted by The Neighborhood Talk and it’s since been garnering reactions from angry fans who called him out for lying about his mother’s complexion. “Boy yo momma look like Gayle King….” the comment with the highest likes reads.

“If his mama mixed, I’m the Easter bunny,” another person wrote. “His momma look 100% kneegra to me… it could be me tho,” someone else penned. “She must be mixed with African and black…” a fourth user  wrote.

“This man took a break from playing in his BMs face to play in ours,” a fifth person shared. “Chile your Mama is BLACK! You like mixed Women bc it’s your preference and you want to erase your Blackness in your lineage lol,” someone else added.

We did a bit of digging and of course he was lying, his mother isn’t nowhere near being light-skinned and neither does she looks like Mariah Carey.
