Rihanna Cancels Baby Shower Amidst ASAP Rocky Arrest Drama

Rihanna was scheduled to have a huge star-studded baby shower in Los Angeles this weekend, that’s what she and A$AP Rocky flew into town for this week. Unfortunately the Los Angeles police put a kibosh on any parties.

On Wednesday, police stormed A$AP Rocky – as he walked off a private jet with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna and her family – and arrested him.

We earlier reported that Rihanna bursted into tears when A$AP Rocky was arrested in her front, well, new report reaching us is that Riri is officially cancelling her baby shower this weekend – which was expected to have lots of A-listers in attendance.

According to a person close to Rihanna, the billionaire pop star is “cancelling” the baby shower. It’s not clear whether she now plans for a scaled down baby shower, or whether she will forego having one altogether.

The friend explained, “With all that’s going on, there won’t be one [a baby shower this weekend].

The friend reportedly said many “A-list” celebrities were expected to attend, but she didn’t specify exactly which celebrities planned on celebrating Rihanna’s first pregnancy with her.

A$AP Rocky is facing some pretty serious charges. Los Angels police say that the rapper allegedly shot a man, a very serious crime under California law, He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of those charges.
