Georgia Man Fatally Shoots Ex-Wife After She Posted About Their Failed Marriage On TikTok
A Georgia man traveled to his ex-wife’s Chicago home and fatally shot her before turning the gun on himself after she opened up about their relationship troubles on TikTok, NY Post reports.
Sania Khan, 29, was very transparent about her divorce from ex-husband Raheel Ahmad, 36 on her TikTok. She talked about her experience growing up in a Pakistani household and the pressures of marriage.
“Going through a divorce as a South Asian woman feels like you failed at life sometimes,” she wrote in one post seemingly emotional.

“The way the community labels you, the lack of support you receive, and the pressure to stay with someone because ‘what will people say’ makes it harder for women to leave marriages that they shouldn’t have been in, to begin with,” she added.
Officers responded to Khan’s home after receiving a welfare call from Ahmad’s family following his disappearance from his Georgia home. When officers arrived they heard a single gunshot and “a verbal groan,” the reports state.
They entered the residence to find Khan “unresponsive near the door with a gunshot wound to the back of the head and blood on her face that had already dried,” a source said. Ahmad was also found with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the reports.
Khan was married to Ahmad for less than a year before they divorced. A friend of Khan described Ahmad as controlling. “He monitored what she wore,” Gabriella Bordo told the outlet. “He was wary about who she hung out with, how she presented herself.”
