Damon Dash Wins Jury Verdict On Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Roc-A-Fella Founder Dame Dash Wins Sexual Assault Lawsuit By Photographer
Dame Dash proved victorious in court after a federal jury cleared him of sexually assaulting a photographer.
A woman named Monique Bunn sued him back in 2019. Bunn claimed he touched her inappropriately while she was napping at his house during a video project.
She also filed defamation charges against him after he hopped on social media and accused her of charging thousands of dollars to a credit card without permission.

Bunn was seeking $50 million from the lawsuit but the jury found him guilty of defamation and awarded her only $30,000.
She is still claiming victory: “I am thankful to the jury for the result on my defamation claim. It has been 4 years to get to this point and I am pleased I can move forward,” said Monique Bunn.
“Now the world knows that Damon Dash and Raquel Horn made false statements that I tried to rob them. The jury awarded actual and punitive damages and I am appreciative to the jury for the award.”
Dash served as Jay-Z’s manager and business partner at Roc-A-Fella Records, and in 1999, he organized a tour for Jay-Z which made $19 million.
