Donald Trump Reacts To Latest Indictment: ‘I Will Never Be Detained’
Donald Trump Makes First Speech Since Recent Indictment
Apparently, Donald Trump seemingly thinks he’s untouchable as the former President believes he will not be “detained.”
This Saturday, Trump took the stage at the state Republican convention in Georgia where he slammed the Department of Justice, the FBI and even the Biden administration, calling his recent indictment “a travesty of justice.”
“The ridiculous and baseless indictment of me by the Biden administration’s weaponized ‘department of injustice’ will go down as among the most horrific abuses of power in the history of our country,” he said.

Trump, 76, added, “We got to stand up to the … radical left Democrats, they’re lawless partisan prosecutors … Every time I fly over a blue state, I get a subpoena. I’ve put everything on the line and I will never yield. I will never be detained. I will never stop fighting for you.”
On Thursday, the Justice Department finally took the legal step of slapping Trump with federal criminal charges. The ex prez is accused of mishandling classified documents he kept upon leaving office and then obstructing the government’s efforts to reclaim them.
“The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been indicted,” Trump wrote, in one of several posts around 7 p.m. after he was notified of the charges.
In a video message that he released later on Truth Social, Mr. Trump declared: “I’m an innocent man. I’m an innocent person.”
