Peter Thomas’ Miami Restaurant Bar One Sued For Eviction, Landlord Says He Owes $422K In Rent
Peter Thomas can’t catch a break with these restaurants chi. His location down in Miami is reportedly being sued for eviction.
According to Radar Online, Peter’s restaurant, Bar One Miami Beach, received a legal letter suit from Bentley Bay Retail LLC.
In the suit, the company claims they are Peter’s landlord, and said they entered into an a commercial lease agreement with him back in 2018. The company sued Peter in the past for unpaid debts, but he managed to buy a lil time, promising to pay his debts…which totaled around $270k.

In the agreement, the company made it clear that if any checks were returned ‘Bar One Miami’ would have to close them doors for good.
Well, they claim Peter submitted four payments that ended up bouncing back chi. (July 2022, August 2022, September 2022, October 2022, and March 2023). Bentley Bay Retail said Peter now owes them a whopping ‘$422k in rent, outstanding costs, utility charges, and sales taxes.’
‘The suit said Thomas was notified in October 2022 that he was in default. This new lawsuit was filed the same month. However, the company said the case was delayed after Thomas began negotiation talks.’
They want him out of the building.
