Man Allegedly Steals Forklift From Lowe’s & Fatally Runs Over Woman At Parking Lot

A Maryland man is behind bars after fatally running over an elderly woman in a Home Depot with a forklift he allegedly stole from Lowe’s!

According to CBS Baltimore, around 12:40 a.m. Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown, 20, reportedly broke into a local Lowe’s to steal a forklift.

He then rammed it through the rear gates before driving it about half a mile north to the Home Depot. At Home Depot, Gloristine Pinkney, 73, was sleeping in her car in the parking lot when Brown rammed into her car with the forklift.

When she got out of the car and began running away, Brown allegedly followed her and ran her over with the forklift.

After running Pinkney over, Brown allegedly fled in her car. Police canvassing the area found Pinkney’s body beneath the forklift, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators do not believe Brown and Pinkney knew each other.

Brown was arrested the next day at his home with Pinkney found nearby.

Brown is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, assault, theft and other related charges. He is currently being held without bond.
