Wack 100 Says Kodak Black Was Given A Rolls-Royce & A Lot Of Money For 6ix9ine Collab
Kodak Black Was Given A Rolls-Royce & A Lot Of Money For 6ix9ine Collab
During a No Jumper interview on Sunday (July 23), Wack 100 explained how he orchestrated the joint single between Kodak Black and Tekashi 6ix9ine.
After getting paid “a whole lot of money,” Kodak finally met up with the record executive. They got past the technicalities of paperwork and then set a date and time to get the Floridian in the booth.
“It was supposed to be like 8 o’ clock, I seen Kodak by 1 [am],” he said. “Some things worth waiting on. Kodak pulled up [with] his girl and his kid, with fire in his eyes.”
After having a “man-to-man” conversation with 6ix9ine, both artists recorded their parts for what was subsequently released as “Shaka Laka” on Friday (July 21) with Yailin la Mas Viral.
“And then right before [Kodak] left, shit, we kept it gangsta,” Wack revealed. “He came in a black car and he left in a Rolls-Royce. Tossed him the keys, tell him ‘go home’ … he put his baby seat in that bitch, he jumped in the driver’s seat, he put his driver in the passenger seat, his queen in the back and I jumped on the freeway with him.”
Kodak has also responded to backlash over the collaboration. “I got it. You know these rap n-ggas, you know these f-ck n-ggas like, ‘Damn, Yak to the’…I ain’t no follower,” he said on stage at Rolling Loud.
“I come as I am. It be like, n-ggas be wanting somebody to do it to ’em, for feal for real. It’s like these n-ggas be ready to die or some sh-t. They mad at something. They hate themselves,” he continued.
