Houston Woman Strangles Her 18-Year-Old Girlfriend To Death After She Believed Teen Gave Her An STD
Houston woman is behind bars after she allegedly murdered her girlfriend because she believed that the young woman gave her an STD.
According to KHOU11, Shania Laneice Turner, 24 and her girlfriend Tierra Horn, 18, were walking a hiking trail in Houston, TX on Jan. 2 when Shania confronted Tierra about allegedly giving her an STD.
Things escalated and Shania strangled Tierra, killing her there on trail. Shania then hid her lifeless body at the trail under leaves and left. Tierra’s family reported her missing two days later, on Jan. 4. After a search, police recovered Tierra’s body at the hiking trail the next day.
Tierra’s sister Rokeisha Calton spoke with KRIV about how she’s been coping with her sister’s untimely death. She claims she knew Tierra’s relationship with Shania was toxic, but she never expected it to end this way.
Rokeisha says the couple met a few years ago when their mother died, so their relationship started off on a traumatic note.
“When she met this particular person we’re talking about, she just got off track,” Calton told the outlet. “A devil. A person who doesn’t have a heart. A person who doesn’t care about life. A monster.”
Shania is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. Praying for Tierra’s family.
