Three Girls, Between 12 & 13, Charged With Beating & Killing A 64-Year-Old Disabled Man In Washington D.C.

A 12-year-old girl and two 13-year-old girls were arrested this week in Washington D.C. for an incident that happened in 2023, which left a disabled man, Reggie Brown, dead.

The three girls chased Reggie through an alley and physically assaulted him, stomping on him several times. They were caught on camera carrying out the gruesome attack on October 17.

The video showed a group of five girls chasing the disabled 64-year-old down an alley and ripping him off a chain link fence as he desperately tried to flee. They stomped his head on the concrete before pulling his pants down to his ankles and using his own belt to beat him, investigators testified in court Friday, according to the Washington Post.

The three teens appeared to be amused by their actions because they were laughing during the ordeal. One of them even said, “He’s leaking!”

Reggie was found dead on the street a little before 1 a.m. An autopsy determined his cause of death was due to blunt force trauma to the head.

The disturbing part is that these girls didn’t even know this man. Police said a man in his 20s initiated the attack by grabbing the man and throwing him up against a fence. The group of girls were walking by at the time and one of them randomly asked,“ Can I fight him?” The man said “Yes.”

One of the girls told police that two out of the five girls didn’t want to attack Reggie,but were forced to by the man in his 20s, who allegedly threatened them with a gun in his waistband. This is probably why only three girls were arrested. One of the 13-year-olds was arrested Thursday. The other 13-year-old and the 12-year-old were arrested Friday.
