Doechii Claps Back At Azealia Banks For Calling Her A Wannabe: “You Sellin’ Bussy Soap, I’m Sellin’ Platinum Records”

Azealia Banks recently went off on Doechii and called her a wannabe and an ugly version of her. Doechii caught up with the shade and she didn’t let it slide this time around, savagely serving Azealia back.

“They found this kind of like ugly version of me… she’s not an ugly version.. she’s just ugly, and I hate to call dark skin girls ugly.. because she’s just ugly, she be ugly if she’s light skinned,” Banks said.

Continuing on her Instagram story, Azealia Banks wrote: “Definitely should call them the “wannabe’s.”

Doechii then fired back saying: “@azealiabanksforever the first time you came for me I let it slide outta respect for my elders. It’s not my fault you sellin bussy soap and I’m sellin platinum records. Leave me alone PLEASE.”

Fans have since been reacting to the comparisons, “It’s like Doechii did what Azealia was supposed to do sorry not sorry,” someone commented. “Azealia thinks she’s Jet Beauty of Week? Girl gone,” another person wrote. “Is Azelia ever happy for anybody? She gives miserable all day everyday,” someone else penned.

“The way people be talking about what people look like will always be odd to me. People can’t do anything about what they look like. We all made to look like we look,” another user added.

Back in 2022, Azealia Banks teased a collaboration with Doechii then later slammed her. “You have this f*cking Doechii chick, who I have no f*cking clue who she is,” Banks said while calling out Doechii’s label TDE.
