Chaos Breaks Out At Lil Wayne’s Weezyana Festival

Reports has it that many people suffered minor injuries during Lil Wayne’s fifth annual Lil WeezyAna Fest over the weekend.

Top notches like Megan Thee Stallion, Kash Doll, Saweetie, Trey Songz, Future, Travis Scott and Meek Mill were in town at the UNO Lakefront Arena, to perform at Lil Wayne’s festival.

Meek Mill tried to tame the crowd during his performance, saying, “I need everybody to be cool. No pushing or we’re gonna shut this s— down.”

And shortly after Meek Mill left the stage, a large stampede occurred because audience members thought somebody was firing a gun.

According to witnesses, over 15,000 people ran for safety, destroying parts of the stage. A medical tent and concession stands near the stage were overrun, and sections of fencing were pushed down. The medical tent was left in tatters on the ground.

The wood frame and sheet metal barriers that fronted several beverage booths on both sides of the main stage were destroyed; tables were overturned in a frenzied rush.

Unfortunately, some of the people in the crowd took advantage of the chaos and looted the concession stands as people fled.

I’m so pissed at this Lil Weezyana Fest !!!!! They fucked us over didn’t provide shade , $4 for water that later ran completely out , and everyone running out of no where people getting trampled on 🤦🏽‍♀️ We all need refunds …

A few were reported to have fallen unconscious due to the unbearable heat. Both the VIP and GA sections of the 15,000-person festival were apparently aggressive and jam-packed.
