Rapper Famous Dex Suffers Epileptic Seizure Mid Performance

A video showing rapper Famous Dex real name Dexter Tiewon Gore falling mid performance after suffering epileptic seizure has been circulating online.

He was performing at Los Angeles’ 1 Oak yesterday when the incident happened.

The “Pick It Up” crooner gave fans a real Halloween scare when he suddenly collapsed and began shaking.

Dex can be seen in the clip being held by security and fellow rapper Jay Critch as he’s incapacitated by the seizure. Rich The Kid is also seen looking on as the scene unfolds.

The rapper was quickly carried backstage, and was tended to by emergency services, although they did not transport him to a hospital.

While the cause of the seizure remains unknown, fans have been speculating that it was due to drug abuse.

Dex is known for his battle with drug addiction after he passed out during an Instagram Live session last year. Dex himself has spoken on drinking lean, and lean is said to sometimes lead to seizures.

“We wish Famous Dex a speedy recovery after his epileptic seizure last night,” reads a statement issued to TMZ.

“He is currently in good spirits and hopes to return back (sic) to finishing his new album. He thanks all his fans for their prayers and well wishes.”
