Best Rap Album Nominations For The 2020 Grammy Awards

It was announced earlier today that Alicia Keys will be hosting the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The complete nominations list is out and it’s a tough one which is pretty hard to predict.

And as expected, the newbies who had their breakthrough in 2020 with smashing hits got the most nods. Lizzo, Lil Nas X as well as Billie Eilish were honored with nominations.

But the most intense part of the nomination list is the ‘Best Rap Album’ category. Dreamville Record’s Revenge of the Dreamers III, Meek Mill’s Championships, 21 Savage’s I Am > I Was, Tyler The Creator’s Igor, and YBN Cordae getting his first ever Grammy nomination with ‘The Lost Boy’.

The above listed albums were selected as the five most outstanding rap projects released between October 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019.

Recall, Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy won the honor in February for the 2019 Best Rap Album. Who do you think will win this time around .. ?
