DaBaby Issues Statement Following Miami Arrest For Alleged Robbery
DaBaby Reacts To His Miami Arrest
Rapper DaBaby whose real name is Jonathan Kirk was arrested in connection to a robbery that took place after a show with the alleged victim being a concert promoter some days back.
The victim said that he was planning a birthday bash for DaBaby’s artist Stunna 4 Vegas. He had a negotiation with the Bop rapper and agreed $30K for the event.
Eventually, DaBaby and his crew allegedly jumped the man and robbed him of $80, a credit card, and an iPhone 7.
Couple of days ago, DaBaby was released from jail in Florida. Although he’s out right now, he’s expected back in court this Tuesday.
The rapper has now reacted to the incident taking to instagram to express himself. “Please stop talking to me about that weak ass 48 hours I spent in jail and that failed attempt to break my spirits & interrupt the path,” he wrote.
“Don’t allow yourself to be used by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win. I encourage you all to kick back and relax and prepare yourselves for this new wave of music and entertainment I have prepared for you all,” he concluded the posts.
