DJ Akademiks Slams Meek Mill For Trenches & War Comparison

DJ Akademiks Calls Meek Mill Out Over Troops Tweet

Yesterday, Meek Mill sent a shout out to the troops ahead of possible war between America and Iran. The Philadelphia rapper was only showing support for the deployed soldiers but got attacked over it.

Meek took to twitter to show support for the soldiers who have continued to put their lives on the lines for the safety of Americans.

“One time for the soldiers that really gotta go to war and put ya life on the line …. we from the trenches so we know the feeling of having ya life on the line 24/7 not knowing if you gone make it home!” he tweeted.

Then a critic immediately called him out for comparing the trenches with a real war but he didn’t hesitate to cap back. “Sir … I’m from the streets where thousands of black men die everyday … you don’t give a fuck do you … SHUT UP! Thank you and excuse me nice meeting ya … we not on the same frequency,” Meek fired back.

Well, DJ Akademiks has also reacted to Meek’s tweet and according to him, the rapper’s tweet is hypocritical and that Meek was being a self-fulfilling narcissist who contradicted himself another time.

“This is pretty much the most self-indulgent, narcissistic tweet you could probably have about this situation because, while we’re trying to give some light to the men and women who serve in our armed forces, Meek Mill had to say that being in the streets is like being at war,” DJ Akademiks said in the video.

He goes on to say that much of what goes on in the streets is done through crime, noting that US soldiers donate their lives away from their families to protect us all instead.

AK also added that Meek’s dedication to prison reform, suggesting that the man is a hypocrite for some of his comments.
