Lena Waithe Now Dating & Living With ‘Harriet’ Actress Cynthia Erivo

On Thursday, reports circulated online that Lena Waithe has split from her wife, Alana Mayo after two months of marriage.

New reports coming in has it that Waithe has already started dating Harriet actress, Cynthia Erivo and that they are allegedly living together.

“After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways,” Waithe and Mayo said in a joint statement released via PEOPLE. “We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time.”

According to Bossip, The Queen & Slim director has been getting close to Erivo since 2018, and the pair are living together as a couple.

Erivo recently posted a picture of herself and Waithe on her instagram page and it has fueled the report that the two are now dating.

“I finally found my sis. Lena you are absolutely everything,” Erivo wrote in an Instagram post from 2018. “You are perfection. What a meeting of minds, glad to have you in my life! Stuck like glue !!! SHINE QUEEN SHINE!!”

Neither Waithe nor Erivo have confirmed the rumored romance, but fans are convinced this is the main reason Waithe and Mayo have parted ways.
