Actress Cynthia Erivo And Lena Waithe Confirm Dating Rumors

Actress Cynthia Erivo and Lena Waithe appeared to be dating, Well now the couple has decided to come out publicly, during Pride month.

After two years of speculation, Lena Waithe, 38, and Cynthia Erivo, 35, have confirmed the rumors that they’re dating. According to online reports, the pair showed up to the Alvin Ailey Spirit Gala together last Thursday night (Jun.16).

While the alleged couple took pictures separately on the red carpet, multiple sources spotted them walking hand in hand into the auditorium at the Lincoln Center.

The Chicago native and the British actress first sparked dating rumors back in 2020 after being spotted at several red carpet events together. Despite the speculation, they never acknowledged the status of their relationship.

But now that it’s Pride month, the couple decided to officially “come out.”

Lena Waithe is an actress, producer, and screenwriter. She is the creator of the Showtime drama series The Chi (2018–present) and the BET comedy series Boomerang (2019–20) and Twenties (2020–present). She also wrote and produced the crime film Queen & Slim (2020) and is the executive producer of the horror anthology series Them (2021–present).

Cynthia Erivo is an English actress, singer, and songwriter. She is the recipient of several accolades, including a Daytime Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, and a Tony Award, in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
