2 Chainz Cuts Off His Signature Dreadlocks
Rapper 2 Chainz kicked off 2020 dishing out new songs and has also been working on his upcoming project. He’s also dropping a new song with Future on Friday.
2 Chainz whose real name is Tauheed Epps, is a prolific rapper, songwriter and media personality. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia.
The 42 year old initially gained recognition for being one-half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside his longtime friend and fellow rapper Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers.
On Wednesday evening, the ‘Rule The World’ rapper took to Instagram to share a photo of his chopped off dreadlocks. “The second cut of the year,” he wrote in the caption.
His comments section has been flooded with several reactions from fans, giving their take on the rapper’s decision.
2 Chainz also announced that a track he had alluded to in his mysterious “New Music Friday” tweet on Tuesday will be a collab with Future called “Dead Man Walking.” He shared a snippet of the song and the accompanying visuals in a brief clip on his Twitter and Instagram.
