Billie Eilish Says Rappers Lie About Having Guns And B*tches
Billie Eilish Thinks Rappers Been Capping About Guns & B*tches
Billie Eilish has been chosen as the March cover star of Vogue magazine and she had an interview with the media outlet where she shared her thoughts on Drake texting her.
Drake was criticized for texting Billie when she was just 17 and was tagged creepy but she defended him during the interview.
“The internet is such a stupid-ass mess right now. Everybody’s so sensitive. A grown man can’t be a fan of an artist? There are so many people that the internet should be more worried about,” Billie said.
In another part of the interview, the 18 year old Grammy winner made some statements about Hip Hop and lies. While discussing how she enjoys inventing characters and stories in her songs, She distinguishes what she does from lying, which she claims is pervasive in rap music.
“There’s a difference between lying in a song and writing a story. There are tons of songs where people are just lying,” Eilish says.
She continues “There’s a lot of that in rap right now, from people that I know who rap. It’s like, ‘I got my AK-47, and I’m fuckin’ . . .’ and I’m like, what? You don’t have a gun. ‘And all my bitches. . . .’ I’m like, which bitches? That’s posturing, and that’s not what I’m doing.”

When you’re 16, 17 & talking bout you’re going to seduce someone’s dad, especially when that song is written by your brother, you might need to keep quiet about what’s inappropriate in other genres

Worst part about popstars like Billie Eilish talking about rap is that they always act like it’s a monolith. Like there’s not more to it than what they describe.

Why couldn’t she just shut up and take her award?

Music is art. Art isn’t always real. Billie has a song where she says ‘she is the try to seduce your dad type; I am a bad guy.’ Does that mean she was trying to seduce older men while underage? No its the lyrics to a song. She is still young hence her naivety.

Jay Z said the same thing, but of course you guys will say that she is wrong but Jay is right
