Meagan Good Says God Told Her To Leave Her Ex & Marry Devon
Meagan Good Speaks On Leaving Her Ex & Marrying Devon
Actress Meagan Good is making some shocking claims that she had feelings for her current Devon Franklin, and knew that he would be her husband.
The popular child actress revealed that she knew Devon would be her hubby even while she was in her last relationship. According to Meagan, God told her so.
Meagan visited the Tamron Hall Show, last week, and Meagan and Devon talked about how they met and married. The talk included a frank discussion on the couple’s choice to practice celibacy.
The two met four years before Meagan starred in Jumping the Broom, which Devon executive produced. But it wasn’t until they worked on the movie set, that Meagan would get to know him better.
She also talked about how she initially felt impressed by Franklin. “I thought, ‘That’s the kind of guy I wish I could marry,’” she told Tamron Hall.
God would later confirm that Franklin was the one as Good was going through a rough time in her life.
“The first thing God told me was that it was time to get out of that relationship,” she said. “The second thing that God told me was that it was time to be celibate. The third thing God told me was that Devon was my husband.”
She eventually ended her unhealthy relationship and continued working on herself. She wouldn’t go on her first date with Franklin until months later, but she started telling people he was her future husband.
