Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good stepped out for their first big awards show appearance since Majors’ guilty verdict for assault, unrelated to Good, in December. The couple had a glam night out at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The former Marvel star was found guilty of harassing and assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in December.

While on the red carpet, Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good shared an awkward kiss that has since gone viral on social media. Fans are not feeling any spark between the two and it seemed force. They’ve since been sharing their takes on the viral clip.

“Some people just just don’t like all that public display of affection,” someone commented. “When it’s a Black Man & Black Woman, some Black people will work OVERTIME to sniff out ANY kind of hate they can muster towards that couple!” another person wrote.

“I just know he be folding her up like an origami paper bird !!! Lawd,” someone else joked. “He don’t like black women he just needed our support,” a fourth person claimed. “Why do we as people wish the worst scenario in people lives that has to be study,” a fifth person wondered.

Meagan Good exclusively told PEOPLE on the event’s red carpet what space she’s in at this “crazy time” in her acting career and personal life.

“I’m in love, I’m transitioning, I’m healing, I’m growing [and] I’m getting excited about what’s next,” the 42 year old says, nodding to her relationship with Jonathan, 34. “Yeah, just a lot of things at once. But what I can say is, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time,” she added.
